SPIDER-MAN 3 2007 | 15th Anniversary Fan Cover

Earlier this year I set out to create fan covers for each film in the trilogy.

In order to match the cover to the move I knew I would have to do a half black suit / half regular suit pose, so I did some research and found the best way to do that would be to give off the illusion that the two poses match their respective suits.

The black suit side has a closed fist and has a darker color palette with the standard suit colors where as the regular suit side has a more neutral pose with the hand being relaxed and open. I would equate it to a split image of a human face where both sides display different emotions. At its core that's what I was trying to go for with the main pose.

These covers by far are the most ambitious and thought planning I've done for any art ever. I've also included the relevant colors and what I personally consider to be the themes of each film placed at the top.

So the theme for this one is forgiveness. You'll find more details like these in the other covers
These covers were a blast to do and so important to me because these films defined Spider-Man for me.
